Next Technology in cooperation with the English company Finastra organized a conference in Al-Fateh Tower under the title “Digital Transformation in the Islamic Banking System”. The conference dealt with how to move from the traditional banking system to the digital system. The conference was sponsored by Dr. Tahani Abdullah, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and included a number of attendees, headed by a representative of the Central Bank and a number of representatives of banks, private sector companies and government institutions.
The Minister spoke about the role of the state in sponsoring digital transformation and its role in activating e-government programmes. Eng. Omar Omrabi also gave a presentation on financial services in Sudan, and a number of working papers were presented by a number of specialists to the international company FINASTRA.
Next Technology aims by organizing these conferences to transfer global experiences in the field of digital transformation to inside Sudan in order to contribute to providing quality services to its clients from the banking sector, government and private sectors.
